As I reflect on a fun, jam-packed Amplify PLS onboarding/training event this weekend, I have a new perspective on what is #PossibleInEducation. I plan to share my takeaways that apply to any learning context, but they are particularly for my fellow public school teachers out there.
Today’s takeaway: Teachers must feel and *be* supported. Supportive words alone are not enough. Leaders, spend ample time in your teachers’ worlds. Show up and be present in teacher-focused activities in your schools and districts. Something as simple as spending time in a training/PD session *with* your teachers will build more rapport and respect from them than any words you could say.
