Let me begin by saying what a wonderful era we live in! It is true that sometimes technology can overwhelm us and become a burden. But this is an age of opportunity like no other. There has never been a time in human history when so much information is available in an instant, when contact with people on the other side of the globe can happen in seconds, when this is available virtually any time, anywhere!
Now to education – is the same not true? The educational potential of the Internet and mobility are endless! The “Information Age” has the ability to unlock education for students of all ages and backgrounds. Education is no longer a thing for the “smart” only. I encourage all educators to use technology to create 21st century learners. After all, if kids do not learn how to use technology correctly from us then who will teach them?
